Expanding The Horizons

Last week we had an ISM showcase at UNT Frisco! This was an amazing experience to teach others about my topic and teach them how I want to make a difference. I learned a lot from other professionals that were there too. Ways I was successful this week was that I was able to communicate effectively and get my points across in fewer minutes while still trying to grab my audience's attention. 

I also improved in my vocabulary and making my words seem more professional, I also improved in my hand gestures and my eye contact so that my audience is more engaged. 

Ways that I can improve, is make my presentation board more appealing, and having a nice visual of my original work with the technical issues. However, it allowed me to expand more on my own knowledge rather than relying on my presentation board talk for me. 

My goal for next week is to take what I have learned, and the opinions of others on my original work and my final product and actually try and make it come to life. The opinions on my final product will also allow me feedback on things I would want to address or change.
